On December 3, 1887 Oscar Carré opened the greatest circus palace Europe had ever seen. Now, 125 years later, the annual World Christmas Circus (Wereldkerstcircus) is still very much alive and kicking. This year, the circus showcases acts from the winners of the Silver and Golden Clowns; the so-called Oscars of the world of circus. And there’s more: enjoy the incredible performance of king of clowns David Larible, a spectacular act featuring horses from Switzerland, an amazing pagoda act from a team of sixteen artists from China, a brand new version of the flying trapeze act from North Korea and the world’s number one contortionist from South Africa.
