Guided tours

Although Carré is a listed building with an historic atmosphere, everything behind the scenes is ultra-modern. With a guided tour you can experience the dynamic daily life of Dutch and international top entertainment. During the tour you will see behind the doors that normally remain closed.

While the guide leads you through the Netherlands’ most famous theatre and you wander across the stage and through foyers and dressing rooms, you will be given a commentary and anecdotes about the architecture, history, performances and what has happened in Carré over the past 125 years.

We organise a weekly tour through the building. It takes place on Saturday morning at 11.00 hours and lasts about one hour. Everyone is welcome.
